Hi all,
I joined this forum so that I could share pictures of my first automatic watch. After much research and reading about anchor escapements and jewels, and movements vs ebauches (I still don't know whether Ball buys the whole completed movement or the ebauches for my watch), I decided on a Ball Conductor Transcendent Pearl. I needed a watch that didn't need much babying, and wouldn't look massive on my rather petite wrists.
Also, the radioluminescence is nothing short of cool. Don't know what I'll do in 25 years when it wears out, but I'll cross that bridge later.
Anyways, I remember when I was doing my research, I was having a really hard time finding photos in real life of this watch, especially being worn, to get an idea of size. So I thought I ought to come back and post some.
I should note I have pretty small hands (I wear a 4 on my ring finger, and yes I know that means almost nothing to you men, but the ladies know what that means, haha). The watch is extremely comfortable and has a great weight and feel.
I do have a question I was hoping some of you veteran Ball owners could help with. How do you polish the small scratches out of your stainless steel? Any recommendation? Like I said, I'm hard on my watches, and it's already a little embarassingly dinged up..
