This is the watch worn by National Sales Manager Marc Ofte. I am not super familair with it, but here are some specs. I am sure owners can fill in the details for you.

It's a modular chrono, the base is the ETA 2892, which is a fine auto. Not sure what is being used for the chrono module...here are the specs from ballwatchusa.

What specifically do you want to know? The specs are listed above along with further information on both Ball Watch USA and Switzerland's website.

Now, this is interesting...because my 2007 Ball Watch Guide lists the movement spec'd for the Conductor Chronograph LE as the ETA(Valjoux) 7750. I got to try on this gorgeous timepiece while attending the Museum Tour at Andy Jewelers in San Francisco earlier this year. I was even told by Marc Ofte(who was wearing an EMII Classic that day), Ball USA Nat'l Sales Mgr and tour docent, that the beautiful watch on my wrist was powered by the tried and true Valjoux 7750. Could the listed specs on the website be a "typo"? I thought the only Ball that utilized a chrono module was the Trainmaster Cannonball Chrono...but I could certainly be wrong here....

    Hi relo ni leroy,

As I mentioned above, I got to try on this beautiful piece, and loved it. It's a stunning watch that has real wrist presence. The 38.5mm diameter looks plenty big on(I have a 7.125" wrist). The dial work is amazing to behold, even under the scrutiny of a 10x jewelers loupe(which Marc insisted that I examine it with ). The nicely decorated movement can be viewed through the sapphire exhibition caseback crystal, while the beautifully domed sapphire "tv" crystal, topside, will keep you coming back for more(gazing and ). The version that I tried on had the ss bracelet, which is equally stunning and very, very comfortable to wear. My only wish with this piece, is that it would be offered in a satin brushed finish option. The case and bracelet are both high polish ss...beautiful, but just a little blingy for me.

All in all, if my watch fund could have handled it, I probably would have come home from the Museum Tour with it. It, or at least one of the other Conductor models, is definitely on my "must have" list!

Glad to have you with us, relo ni leroy!

It seems there is conflicting info...

    Good spot Geoff.

The specs are different on the Swiss Ball site v the older US site. The swiss site says it is a 7750. Ball USA states a 2892 as does the WW Annual. With a 2892, there would need to be a chrono module.

Someone should go around and clean up all the erroneous copy that exists in the watch industry, heck, all industries.

So, you may wanna contact Ball tomorrow as even their sites contradict each other and then share the straight skinny with us.
    kind regards,

    scott

Thanks, Scott! When I tell my wife stuff like this, she always gives me one of these--

I've just sent a pm to the "Powers that Be", asking them about the spec discrepancy(as well as a question about the large chrono seconds hand of the new Cannonball). I'm sure that I'll either soon get a pm response(which I'll immediately post), or a Ball rep may simply post the answers directly to this(and that other) thread.
    Take care,
    Geoff

    Re: conductor chronograph lt. ed.

I noticed all the non-chrono conductors list their movement as 2892. The sites that show the chrono as 2892 do not indicate it has a module, which it would have to have added. If I had to bet on it, I'd say it has the 7750 and those sites just copied the description of the non-chrono without changing it.
