Thanks Bill....As you know I love my Isofranes. But this one looks really good with the Arktis. I was never a big fan of blue dialed watches, but when I had the chance to get this one for a good price, I gave it a try...and its really a nice change from all my other watches.

It was a toss up on the arktis and the 103 a sa for me, in the end I wanted to see the movement (very stupid I know) but the arktis to me after looking kobolds at henne was legs above those in quality. I looked at a kobold polar surveyor and the bezel wasn't lining up and the movement to about 20 turns before the sub seconds hand would start moving. An then there sa the price! At nearly 4200 bucks I just couldn't understand. I had been looking to sinn for a while for arktis and 103 and base 203 for dive style chrono. Finally the 103 won out, but I will be searching for that beautiful blue dial again someday...

I only bought it on ebay out of curiosity, and because I got it at a good price, since so many people are raving about the blue dial. Especially now with the new Isofrane, it looks rather dashing. The orginal leather that came with it, looks good on pictures, but in real life its to gaudy for me taste...
