Call for assistance: Will the Bracelet Fit???

Hello awesome folk (and a special hello to Mike),

I spoke to my (only) AD, then called SINN customer support line but neither could answer a seemingly *simple* question...

The 6100 has a 44mm case with 22mm lugs and it DOESN'T have a bracelet option listed on the website.

The 6090 on the other hand is 41.5mm case again with 22mm lugs but it DOES have a bracelet option.

Now, as fancy would have it, I wish to buy the 6100 but with a bracelet. So, I called the AD, then SINN customer service - unclear if it was the language barrier but I felt like talking to an answering machine: "the website does not show bracelet, no".

Yes, I know it is not listed and this is why I am asking - nicely - will the 6090 bracelet fit the 6100 or not? Surely, 2.5mm diameter difference may result in a changed curve and judging by pictures the smaller case bracelet is pretty tight to the case but... is it really this big of a change across the arch that it would not accommodate the bracelet?

So, I am appealing to those in the know, or in a position to try/test/ask someone with access to the items - If I order the 6090 bracelet, will it fit the 6100?

    Thank you!

I can only guess...but it would be a NO!! As you said, the cases are too different for fitted end links.

The last Sinn Katalogbuch doesn't show a bracelet available for that watch in either the bracelet section nor the watch section.

I have none of those watches or bracelets. However, I think taking the bracelet
from the smaller case to the larger case might fit with no trouble. I think a critical
factor is the lug length. I don't have photos to compare the lugs. The Sinn 917
shares the 44mm case diameter, but the case is much thicker. I would try the
    6090 bracelet first.

Here is my suggestion. Call Sinn sales rather than customer service. They have
demo models in the show room. Ask them to take the bracelet off the 6090 and
put it on the 6100. When they are successful place the order.

Some may say, the case sizes are different. How could that work? Well, here is an
example two different case sizes on opposite ends of the same bracelet.

3.31x10^4 results on Google Images, and I don't see one on a bracelet.

Re: Call for assistance: Will the Bracelet Fit???

    Reporting back my findings:

First of all, thank you @rationaltime for the laser-precise advice; after banging my head against the wall with AD + Customer Support yesterday, I called Sales some minutes ago.

Spoke to a kind gentleman with excellent English, who explained the following: the distance from the pin holes to the curvature of the case combined with the actual different profile of the case (the 2.5mm difference in diameter) make it impossible to fit the bracelet. The bracelet on the 6090 has SEL which were designed for full contact all along the curvature.

Long story short - even if the bracelet solid end links are polished, there will be a gap between them and the case, perhaps not appealing to the eye. Currently, there is no indication of a metal bracelet coming as optional for the 6100 line.

    Again, thanks @
rationaltime for the advice and resolving this without spending the money on it... Cheers!

Sorry for the disappointing outcome. The helpful chap you spoke to was Patric. If you buy a watch from the Sinn showroom he's the fellow that does all the bracelet and silicone strap sizing. And yes, his English is excellent.

Re: Call for assistance: Will the Bracelet Fit???

@CMSgt Bo: I didn't catch his name in the beginning but it sounds like we are both referring to the same person. Ever since I started reading Mike Stuffler and his passion for German watches, I have had a soft spot for Sinn. I was convinced I found my next purchase in the 6100 and since I need a bracelet watch in my collection for the summer, this would have been a purrrrfect addition.

I am hesitant to butcher this beauty with an after-market/OEM bracelet. Will have to wait, or hope for a miracle and a secret option under the "Limited Watches" section like those with unique ceramic dials; only, this time, a one-off bracelet for Mr. Hanx :)
