    Silicone strap

    Hi,

    I am thinking on buying a new 857 S.

For those of you who bought watch with silicone strap; how do you adjust strap lenght around your wrist? Do you just cut it?

    Cheers,

    A

    Re: Silicone strap

Welcome, falkor! The 857 S is a great watch. I have an 857 UTC (tegimented bracelet) and bought a rubber strap to switch out if I want a change. The instructions are included for sizing. It is a simple process to cut and size; however, once cut that is it! Start slightly larger at first and try that before you settle on a final cut. If you mess up, you can get just the rubber strap from Sgt. Bo here on the forum.

I had the rubber strap with deployant on a U1 W and it fit great and was so comfortable.

Please post some pics when you get your 857 S. Cheers, Bill P.

    As promised....

Back from Berlin. Bought Sinn 857 S 2011.
At first I was a little bit worried about the size. But it s just perfect. I got it with large deployment buckle. Man it s really large. But again, after a while you get use to it. To be honest if I would have a choice in the store I would most probably get it with a smaller buckle.

Great looking rig. Didn't they have the PVD black deployant available when you got your watch? They also make a black short butterfly deployant too but it won't fit on your old strap once you cut it to fit the long deployant.

I've had both buckles on my Sinns, and I've found the large one more comfortable. I don't think it's too large for a 857.
EZM3 arrived! Small/large buckle for rubber strap?
