    re: changing strap

    Hello everyone,

I'll be needing to replace a strap for my OD day/date. and I've found a nice rubberized bracelet that I'm excitedly waiting for.
Now, I've just read the notes on changing the strap - certainly appreciate the info btw - but I wanted to ask if regluing is absolutely necessary. I assume this is done as an added safety measure, but I was hoping I could do without because it doesn't seem particularly easy for me to acquire such a glue

I certainly won't hold anyone to your comments, but opinions please

No need for glue in my opinion. Just make sure you tighten the screw firmly and you should be fine.

I changed the straps several times as well on a recently sold OD Day/Date...never re-glued the screwbars...I just tighten it firmly...never had any problems with it...
