You stated the 2 problems you had with the watch, and I didn't see another post about them being rectified. If you didn't want to make the problems public then you should not have mentioned them. As a consumer if I see someone has had a problem with a product I am thinking of purchasing that product, it is my right to ask if problem has been resolved.
Taking this privately to email or pm would not be helpful to others who need this knowledge to make a purchasing decision.

IMHO you are taking an unreasonable position for the "problems" stated in this post. If you are unconvinced about buying an OD that's cool. There are other watches to strap to your wrist.

Who dished out the kool-aid around here. So you think it unreasonable for me to ask about how a problem is being dealt with concerning a watch I am thinking about purchasing? You know how ridiculous that sounds? Your right, there are plenty of boutique watch brands in this niche, and the ones that survive have great customer service, and when a problem comes up, it is dealt with in a timely fashion.

I don't think it at all unreasonable to ask how a problem brought up on the boards was resolved. For one example, you're welcome to check out my thread about #57.

My first watch had a cosmetic issue with one of the crowns. I was more than pleased with how Carlos/Prometheus handled the situation. Before posting about the issue here I brought it up with Carlos to give hom the opportunity to make things right, which he did. Better than expected actually.

I would have posted the outcome, good or bad. Thankfully it was a very positive experience.

Thanks for the feedback, and good to hear you were pleased with customer service. I am very interested in the Ocean Diver chrono if & when it becomes available.

Me too. The only thing that might get me to flip my OD is the impending chrono. The chrono pusher design looks pretty sweet.

In an update to my original post, I said that I was okay with the piece of dust on the number 9. So no further action by me or the company needed. The second issue was the time the watch was keeping. Others more knowledgeable than me, said that autos can take a while to settle in. So I am holding off on calling this a problem that needs rectifying.

So happy with the watch so far. I will let all know if the watch settles in and if not, how I resolved it with the company.

    Tchus.

Re: Received my Prometheus Ocean Diver yesterday - I like it

For what it's worth, on the two occasions I contacted Carlos with a question on my OD, I received a helpful and very rapid response. I am very impressed with the personal attention I received, and for the record am very happy with my watch.

Although I just posted it in another thread, here is a picture of my OD.
