Default Some quick pics of OE #8!

Rushed to the post office with my pink slip today and picked up OE #8. Completely worth the wait. The build quality is outstanding, and this is one of the best bezels I've ever used. I generally prefer 120 click bezels, but this one is so perfectly damped, the 60 clicks feel outstanding. Solid with very little play, but perfectly aligned. The crown is nice and big, but not obtrusive at all. The 3 o'clock position is very nice for this watch. Build quality is every bit as good as my ***** ******** and the bezel is even nicer! Did I mention how great this bezel is?!

Lume is pretty good, but will check again tonight. The rubber strap is quality real rubber and a very nice thing for Poul to include. He could have sent a cheapo strap since we really purchased it for the bracelet, but this one is a Hirsch, so its the real deal. Good job Poul!

As for the size, it wears smaller than my Orsa Sea Angler and Orient 300m, but the thickness is outstanding. Nice heft and I can only imagine how nice it would feel on the stock bracelet. My wrist is 7.5-7.75" and no fitment issues at all. It wears slightly larger than my other Fricker divers.

By the way, the bezel is fantastic. I know I've said it a hundred times, but the tall bezel was what attracted to me to this watch and its completely worth all the hype. I am hitting my head that I did not buy the black bezel version too.

Apologies for the poor pics - they were taken quickly when I got home from the office. I'll try to get better pics when I can get the photo tent set up.

UPDATE 9/14 - I reschuffled and renamed my photobucket albums, so I'm reposting updated pics here.
