Aquaracer Grande Date Alarm. Thoughts/opinions?

My better half is craving for a sporty watch, and after a lot of search and considering all the factors (budget, looks, size, preferably quartz) the favourite so far is the Aquaracer Grande Date Alarm (ref. wap111z-ba0831)



Unfortunately it isn't available in this corner of Europe! So far we've tried some similar models (Aquaracer automatic, but it's too big at 41 and is more expensive, and the simple Aquaracer 39 mm, whose size is perfect) but no Grande Date to try on.

Any forum member with one of these who may share some opinions?

A friend of mine has one and it is his favorite watch, his only dislike is the alarm is not very loud

I have similar AR Grande Date but without alarm. Model is WAF1014. Love the Grande Date window a lot.

I have a 6.5" wrist so something around 41mm fits me best and personally, I prefer strap over bracelet but that's just me.

This is also my daily beater...loving it more so being a quartz, just grab and go. Even my other mechanical watches are using her as the benchmark for time accuracy :)
