Can i wear my watch on either hand?

I just have a kinda silly question to ask, but can I wear my watch on either hand?
It's a Grand Carrera Calibre 36 if that makes a difference.

    Thanks in advance

I wouldn't. To me it's a bit like a suit or a pair of shoes; better to be conservative.

Wear it on your left wrist. Keep the bracelet tight. Left handed or not.

I do. I alternate periodically depending on my mood and simply how I feel to.
If there is a rule that says you must wear a watch on the left wrist - I have not seen it.
Does it matter what others may think about which wrist you choose to wear it on...? Not for me.
Here is my GC 17 on my right wrist.

It's your watch. Wear it well and in good health.
In my collection I have a number of watches.
Bought a few, flipped a few.

I think they were always intended to be on your left by the position of the crown so you could set the time and manual wind quickly without removing the watch. They don't make lefties or righties so I think traditionally they should be on the left. But not everyone's traditional nor do they have to be....

Another thing to consider is I do think if your watch could be safer on your right wrist. Your crown is more protected from sheering impacts when its pointed up your arm instead of at your hand....

But then again if your right handed your doing more with that wrist....

    Basically it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter on which wrist you wear your watch. I am predominately right handed and have always worn my watch on my right wrist. I even wear my wedding ring on my right hand most of the time. I simply do not like anything on my left hand/wrist. It feels awkward to me.

My wife told me to pay attention to my gesturing when I talk. I find that I primarily "talk" with my left hand. Crazy, huh?

Last week, two lefties came up to me and asked why I wore my watch on my right wrist when in was obviously right handed. I don't recall what I was doing... They seemed peeved when I told them that I just wear that way.

First : how will you see your timing while shifting gears in your car?

Second : tpd80 says :"I think they were always intended to be on your left by the position of the crown so you could set the time and manual wind quickly without removing the watch."

Tecnically you should not pull out your crown while wearing your watch, you may force it and bend the shaft due to the position with your wrist and the watch.

    That's it, just my opinion!

Nice one vanilla-coffee by the way!

the short answer is - yes you can..

    comes down to preference really..

i find that wearing the same watch on my right wrist - it seems heavier and very uncomfortable

Really, the only person who will care is you. Wear it on whichever wrist you like...or both if that floats your boat!

Del: No I don't. I have uh... two dollars... and a Casio.

Well I'll try it on my right hand and see how it goes, hopefully I won't smack it against something by accident, otherwise I'll be devastated, lol

Of course, how you wear your watch will affect the way other people perceive you -just as the rest of your appearance.

I found this interesting article on the topic:
    http://www.squidoo.com/WatchHowYouWearYourWatch
It even claims that how you wear your watch affects your heart!
