Just the hands....which is unfortunate every once in a while

Hi, I only just bought a carrera, a 2007 cv2014 in mint condition. It keeps time perfectly, the guy I bought it off said he'd only worn it for a year so never had it serviced. In your experience with this watch, do you recommend a service and if so can you recommend where to go, other than tag? P.s, I also didn't realise only the hands are luminous on this watch! Glad it wasn't just me...! Cheers
Aint broke dont fix it is how I approach watch service
I take a different approach it's called preventative maintenance or in laymans terms a service which would include (COA).That way you can find any worn parts and replace them before they do more serious damage.Otherwise you may well have a bigger repair bill.
