Daily wearer

While deciding on if to go with the 300SLR or white face 1887 i'm in the market for a daily wearer..

Looking at these poss options

1: Formula1 grande date on bracelet not sure which colour face both look great..

First two will be from my AD last one Tag ...... so all AD warranted.

After opinions on all based on a daily wearer at work and the gym..

On the F1, for daily wearer I wold probably go black face with SS band. I have the white face on the SS and it a great watch, IMO, but not sure I would use white every day...but that's just me. Also, I would suggest you try them on because, depending on your wrist size, they start pushing the envelope on size.

Yeah have already tried the black face F1 on and the Aquaracer calibre S all sit well as I have quite large forearms so from point of view they are all cool!

I do have both arms tattooed in full sleaves mainly black art work and had issues with solid black watches like the RS2 not really suiting me but did feel the bracelet on the black face F1 off set the black dial enough to look good.

About to go and try them back on later today and do think it will end up being a decision between the F1's it's just they only have the black face in to try and haven't found a single AD over here with the white face as a display.

If it's a beater, go F1... not only is it cheaper, but the bezels can take some serious abuse without showing signs of wear.

A Formula is a Great beater. I usually use my citizens as my Beater Watches or my Formula 1.

Yeah correction I should of put "to the gym" I don't actually plan on wearing as I train. Was trying to put across general idea.

Tried on the F1 again today (black face) the AD is getting a white face in for me to have a look at see what I prefer.

Still ended up walking away with another Tag ! Got my other half an Aquaracer.

Aside from water issues, all of these watches can pretty much take anything.

I wear my 2000 classic auto everywhere. Gym inclusive.
