    Help needed on Tag F1- watches are changing the date at 1:00AM instead of at 12:00AM

    Tag Heuer F1 watches are changing the date at 1:00AM instead of at 12:00AM


    I've bought two F1 (my wife= cah1211.ba0863 and I = cau1115.ba0869) one from Amazon.com and the other from Presige time.com, and we found out both of the wathces are changing the Date at 1:00 but not at 12:00.



    my question was the Date changes as expected due to design of Tag Quartz or i need to return it.

    Tag Heuer F1 watches are changing the date at 1:00AM instead of at 12:00AM


    I've bought two F1 (my wife= cah1211.ba0863 and I = cau1115.ba0869) one from Amazon.com and the other from Presige time.com, and we found out both of the wathces are changing the Date at 1:00 but not at 12:00.



    I am a newbie to Quartz so my question was the Date changes as expected due to design of Tag Quartz or i need to return it.

    Date change on a F1 quartz watch should essentially be at 12:00 a.m. -- not 1:00 a.m. At least in my experience....

    Manually, not that I am aware of. To remedy may require servicing.

    This is easily fixed by moving the hour hand. That requires some skill but not much and some special tools which are cheap.

    In short you should return if you can. The watch should change date at 12 and TAG Heuer's own tolerances are +-9min of 12. The correct way to remedy this would be to remove the hands and calibrate correctly.

    Well, I can't say for sure, but if you have two new F1s changing the date at the same time on two different watches, I don't think that's a coincidence. It might be annoying though.
