Help-TAG Heuer Link bracelet replacement

I have a late model quartz Tag Heuer Link. The kind where the bracely attached in that funky way to the casing. It was my father in laws and it's that gaudy two toned silver and gold bracelet. I really don't care for the bracelet at all, but this isn't a simple switch out the band operation.

Is there anything out there you can do with a watch like this. I'd like to just add a nice leather option which would look decent with the white face gold bezel styling.

Any advice? Or was this TAG's way of sticking it to you on the bracelet front.

You should be able to go to a leather without too much trouble.

Like Gonzo said, if it's fairly modern Link, the endlink should drop out when you remove the bracelet as it is not part of the case.

I must also note that legit replacement straps/bands/bracelets made by Tag aren't hard to find; Google around and I'm sure you can come up with a suitable change if you need to go that route. Here's hoping you find a resolution to your satisfaction.

It is a late 90's model where, the kind that looks like an "m" when you unhook the bracelet from the casing.
