    Link Calibre 5 question

    Hello again,
I have a Link Calibre 5 automatic that I keep in a watch winder. The winder is set for the least amount of rotations per day. Today I noticed the date was correct and the second hand was moving, but the time was off by a few hours. It was 5:00 and the watch was reading 8:00. I reset the time and it is keeping time again. The watch is about 3 months old and was purchased from an AD. What could cause this.
    Thanks for you input,
    Steve

You need to set your winder for about 800 turns per day. Anything less and eventually (over a period of days, perhaps) your power reserve will be depleted.

What probably happened is that the reserve was depleted which stopped the watch while the winder wasnt running. Then your winder started to turn which powered your watch again. This would account for the 3 hour difference as well as the watch currently running.

Thanks Wisconsin Proud. I will increase the TPD and see what happens. Have a great day.
