Look at a watch at my local AD...they didn't know what it was.

I stopped by my local Tag Heuer dealer and saw a watch that was a Cal. S Chrono but had a giant racing stripe down the middle and a 24 at the top of the dial. on the back it had some kind of hours minutes and seconds ID that must be related to a race or something, they said model was WK17337 or similar but can't find any info on it...what was it? List price $1700 ish...

The numbers on the back refer to the positions of the second hand when setting the different time parameters, hours, mins, seconds, year, day. These are on all Calibre S watches. As for the model, sorry can't help you there.

Well, you could try the Tag Heuer site. On that site, the watch is located here.

For reference, the model is CAH7011.BA0860.

The watch honors TAG Heuer's association with Audi and Audi's 24 hr win at Le Mans. The stripes are Audi's racing colors.
