Hello everybody,
Today I rushed to go to the university.
I ran intensively about 100 metres with my Aquaracer 500m WAJ2112 on my wrist.
I have heard that running can possibly damage automatic watches.
Is it true or a myth?
thank you everybody! :)

In My Opinion just a myth.
I think, the movement will be faster then normal, in your case. Just It.
I've seen several threads on the topic so it's worth your time to do a search. In short most people seem to think it's fine but the watch tends to run a bit fast during and after. I'm not an expert, but it does seem like it would induce more wear and tear on the watch than normal. More than that I just don't think it's the right tool for the job. I like something light and preferably with GPS, especially during race season.

You heard it could damage your watch - then you proceed to do it anyway?
Kind Regards,
Nick

It's totally fine. Don't worry about it. If you regularly ran everyday for exercise it might effect the accuracy, but even then likely only during the time you were running (if you reset the watch the problem would be solved).
