No one actually pays 6k for a GC. 3-4 depending. I paid 3,600 if memory serves. In and about.

Re: which tag heuer to get?

    Hi,
I am new to this forum, so I hope it is okay that I ask my question here.

I am looking for the watch below, but I can't find the specific model reference, i.e. the 'CAR' model name.
I know that it is a TAG HEUER V2 CARRERA CALIBRE 1887 (AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH)
with a Silver Dial, but no more than that.

    Thank you in advance

This is the CAR2111. V2 refers to the dial without the tachymeter grading.
Earlier versions came for a short time like this before the dial was changed - now rare and often found on Asian markets.

I second what's been said earlier, go with the Monaco. It's pedigree and iconic design can't be beat!

The Monaco 100%. I think it can easily be dressed up or down.

Monaco looks great with jeans and badass with a suit. Can't be beat!

+1 on the Monaco, even though I'm not the biggest fan of square/rectangular watches.

I own a Carrera with black bezel and I just purchased the Monaco Steve McQueen. If I have to choose I would go for the Monaco. It's a unique beautiful piece.
