TAG HEUER STOCK/MODELS at TAG ......S LAS VEGAS and NEW YORK

G'day all.

I'm a new comer to the high-end watch scene from Sydney, Australia.
I'm currently in the market to purchase a grand carrera calibre 17RS (black face/steel bracelet) or a Grand Carrera calibre 36 (titanium/leather or steel models)

The cheapest I've seen the Calibre 17RS in stores (amazon/jomashop) is about $5500-5700 AUD which is roughly same when changed into USD.
and the Calibre 36 I have seen at about $8600-8700. these are negotiated prices. and RRP is much higher 17RS = $7500. calibre 36 $9500 or $11500 for titanium

I noticed that the recent family and friends Tag sale had the calibre 17RS at $2999... any hope of it being close at the ...... store? or any other reputable online dealer like jomashop or ace??

I was wondering if anybody knew whether the ...... stores in Vegas or New York would stock the grand carrera models, and at about what price would they have it listed at, and how much would I be able to try and bargain off it.

I'm only asking as I'm travelling to the USA in early-mid january 2013 (Vegas 8-15th Jan, NYC 16-23rd Jan) and want to decide whether to buy the watch in Australia or in USA.
