Unknown Heuer from the 40's. Hope you guys can help me out

I recently found this Heuer but could not find any information about it. I check all the catalogues at "On the Dash" but couldn't find one that resembles my watch.
I find it hard to dertemine the age of it. The watch has a plastic crystal, just like early pocket watches had. I understand that after 1940 they start using acryllic crystal. It also doens't have a shock protection system while the ref 347 has a system. On the other hand the bridge is signed, while the really early ones weren't signed.
Never seen the case design before. It is plated with a stainless steel back. it is 36mm wide. The watch is going to my watchmaker soon as the wheels are a bit corroded. Don't hope there is much water damage done. Crown is missing but a non-branded crown shouldn't be to hard to find (hopefully).

Made some quick pics, hope you can help me out! (the 'classiefied' sticker is from Photobucket ;) )

I am not sure what the classified sticker does for this?? A search of Dr. Ranfft's movement archive should find the movement. I suspect it is a Lemania but you never know for sure until you look. The lack of shock protection dates it to the 50's or earlier as does the use of plated brass for the case.

Getting a crown should be no problem as stems are fairly standardized.

Acrylic crystals came into use after WWII. They became the standard replacement crystal and many watches with them today may have originally had glass. (I prefer them to glass. I've seen how sharp glass shards can be... )

Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
