I looked on eBay but it is hard to find a watch and bracelet like this together, was just curious of what I had? Thanks

That's not entirely true now is it seeing as you've tried to sell it here.

First of all, it's a Heuer which means even if it has value, there is a smaller market for it.
Secondly, it is gold so even if it has value, there is a smaller market for it.
Thirdly, it isn't exactly the desired Formula One driver watch so even if it is collectible, it isn't the most collectible.

If I were you, I would see about entering it at a specialist watch auction and letting the "pros" decide what they want to pay for it.
Set a realistic reserve (ie what you would be happy with) and let fate decide how much you walk away with.
I would also actually take it to the vintage watch dealers near me to gauge what they would offer me for it but I live in London so you may not have the same resources.

Actually, if it were me, I would be fighting the urge to grin all of the time and wear it.
Probably put it on brown leather though.
Gold bracelet is too much for 2012.

First, it appears to be a solid 18kt gold watch with matching gold band.
Second it is a Heuer, which makes it more collectible. And it is an uncommon Heuer if it really is solid gold.
Third it looks to be in good condition. I assume it has been serviced and works.

You might try OnTheDash.com... Jeff Stein actually tries to give valuations of ranges of watches and he might list something similar.

We don't give valuations... too hard to be accurate. But it is certainly worth a multiple of melt (gold value). I suspect it is worth 2X melt... maybe more. These are not common and if two folks want one, the price can get bid up.

This watch may be better sold in a legitimate auction house rather than eBay... but this is an end of the market with which I am not very familiar. Others may know more.

I believe one went for sale as part of the Haslinger collection so that might be a useful starting point.

Yea it is a nice piece,, and it is the solid gold... I do like the idea of putting a nice leather band with it and wearing it. Not sure what i will do with it though.
