    Which Winder?

Recently bought a TH Grand Carrera Calibre 8, tend to wear my Link Calibre S daily so what type of winder would suit best to keep it running during long periods of non use?

I would go with a Wolf Designs Viceroy 2.7 or a Roadster 2.7. It is a very quiet winder and works great.

Wow! Is that a cylinder head off a Veyron?

Omi, thanks, two great suggestions, I might just give the Roadster a try.

Good eye! It's modeled after the Veyron block with plenty of room for new additions

Personally, I buy cheap Sino winders. The plastic gears die if you are not careful. But they are sooooooo cheeeeeeaaap! LOL...

But if my winders were part of a display, I might pay more. The engine block above would be nice for an autosports based collection.

    Re: Which Winder?

I recently purchased this Accuratic watch winder through Amazon for $59.95.Amazon.com: The Expandable Automatic Watch Winder w/Digital LCD Dispaly, w/Japanese Mabuchi motor (Black): Watches.

I don't know much about winders, but there seemed to be very pricey ones and then cheap ones. The Accuratic was at a price I liked and I was looking for one that could be battery powered (2x size C batteries). I've only had it for a week, and so far so good..

Thanks to all the suggestions and input. I've decided to test the water with a cheaper winder from UK Watch Winders. It arrived today, looks great, silent running, 4 time/direction settings. Time will tell if it is any good or not.
