That sucks. Did they give you an estimate of how long it will be away?

That's right made it about 10 months and I only wore it a dozen times or so. I have a job that would destroy any watch if your not careful so I only wear it for meeting or the occasional office day.
All ll she said was they woukd ship it back to Tag I would guess it will be gone 4 to 6 weeks then I'll hear it was dropped or abused of course it won't be their fault.
I was was pretty bummed out because it was time to buy a Aquaracer now I'm waiting and maybe look at something else.
Keep ya posted
Well, to be honest, it sounds like a bad movement. I don't know if Tag does much with the movement once they receive it from ETA or Sellita but it should be a matter of replacing the movement. In other words, I don't think it's your fault or Tag's fault. It looks like the fault lies with the manufacturer of the movement.

I have had my Tag for about 6 years now with minimum maintenance, and no issues. Hopefully yours is just a bad egg (and so they will repair it).
i hope your your right and they replace the movement and all is good. Just the luck I have been having lately LOL
Sure want to get the Aquaracer but will wait to see how this turns out.
The rotor only winds in one direction; in the other it just spins (very) freely.
If you shake it and it makes a noise for a while, the rotor is just spinning in the "wrong" direction.
Just a update
I picked up my watch yesterday and it's repaired. The only notes or comments on the paperwork was movement replaced and full service was performed.
It it appears to be working well, time will tell
Thanks for all the input
Very nice pick up! It's too bad you had an issue with it so soon but now that's it's been repaired I hope you have many years of enjoyment wearing it.
I have the CJF211A.BA0594 and am extremely happy with the watch itself, the looks, how comfortable it is on my wrist and more importantly how incredibly accurate it is. Since purchasing it pre-owned here on WUS in September 2016 it has averaged a gain of less than 1 second per day.

It is such a classy piece, I have had mine for a few years and has been a rare keeper in my collection that I will never let go of. I am sorry to hear you have this problem, especially annoying when someone that works at the AD doesn't know anything about their very expensive products....just know enough to be a little dangerous please.
Please keep us updated on how this repair goes. As much as I love their products, I have never been too nuts about their service. Good luck!
