    That's a whole lot of good news! You basically have a brand new watch. Wasn't TAG's fault and it wasn't your fault. I did suggest it would come down to replacing the movement and it looks like I was right.

    Not directed at you...but I do find it interesting when people blame TAG Heuer when there is a problem with the movement. As far as I know, TAG only makes the 1887 movement while all of the other movements they use for their watches at sourced from ETA, Ronda, or Sellita. So, if there is a problem with 99% of the movements TAG uses it can be placed at the feet of the aforementioned manufacturers.

    Hang on there.

    One thing TAGHeuer do (admirably I should add) is that they test all watches rather than a sample as other lower priced watchmakers tend to do.

    If there is something wrong with the movement, their testing should pick it up, else what's the point?
