Fortis b42 Marinemaster Chronograph 638.10.41 opinions, Please!

Hey guys!

I've got the option of a new b42 marinemaster chronograph (with the old coin edge bezel) for around 1650$ new.
I tried to search, but all i found was the reviews for the day/date versions.

Can any owners share their experience, maybe some comparisons with other watches you own.
Any feedback will be much appreciated!

MzM, I see that you are relatively new to the forum. Welcome, we are glad you are here!

I have a B-42 GMT with the old style bezel and am crazy about it! It is the most accurate watch in my collection running +1 second in 24 hrs. I would think the Marinemaster chrono would be a fine watch to own and the price you quoted seems like a good one. If you get it, please share photos. Cheers, Bill P.

I don't know about prices in Russia, but $1650 for the watch you like would be a good price for a new one here in the USA. Personally I like the old coin edge bezel MUCH better than the new chainsaw edge bezel.

I agree, it is a hot deal. Can't even find a close price if you search in N.America. BTW. I 've been to so many place and figure out SouthEAst Asia have the most competitive price (eg Singapore and HongKong). Their retail price is a lot lower than US and offer almost 40% off for some stores. During my last business trip to Hk on march, I saw the white Marinemaster was selling like 900US. PPL are now selling the used one for 1300 in sales corner...
