I have this 6 year old fortis flieger bought from damas ,abudhabi mall,was giving excellent service till about three days ago ,time function stopped working,damas is not the dealer anymore, so looked up for the new dealer in dubai on the web,the website says gemsworld,tried calling them ,no reponse ,called up fortis in switzerland spoke to monika schneider , she was very kind and spoke very courteously,informed that gemsworld was indeed the new dealer ,supplied me with the same number ,called them again and hey presto somebody picked up the phone ,explained to me their exact location,i arrive at the shop ,tell them what exactly is the problem ,i am surprised there is no proper form to record the form and shape of the complaint ,anyways have left the watch with them ,please pray that they are able to service it properly ,are all fortis service centers like this ? I know this isnt a rant forum but i just want to know am i being anal about this or are these the ways of the world.
