I just found this Fortis watch, which belonged to my grandfather and has been in a drawer for +15 years. It started right away after I picked it up and it seems to keep time.

Do anyone recognize this watch? Google gives me nothing.

How old is it? Is it a common model? Is this the original link?
Is it a quality watch? Is it worth something? I'm interested in any information!

An additional question:
It has a bidirectional bezel which is controlled by the top crown. The bezel is below the crystal. What is this called? Is this found in any new model (of any brand)?
