Thumbs Up I finally caved in...my first Fortis

I've been lurking around the Fortis forum for who knows how long, but I finally gave in this Christmas. Here take a look, my brand new B-42 Cosmonauts Day/Date:

Please pardon my novice watch photography skills, but hopefully I'll try some more and they'll come out a little better.

Thanks to everyone here I've learnt a lot!

Under steer is when you hit the wall with your front end. Over steer is when you hit the wall with your rear end. Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall. Torque is how far you move the wall.

I took a Luminox strap and trimmed a mm off each corner. I have the same watch in Ti and a MarineMaster and love them both. Another place to get a good black rubber strap is the watch prince. Italian rubber, as seen on a gazillion expensive brands.

Here is the link. I think you want the 20mm, or if you like a bigger band go 22mm and trim it.

Thank you all! The watch is keeping great time. I had never ever bothered to double check a watch's time. I was expecting +/- 10 seconds, but I'm really surprised it's almost bang-on! I'm so happy I got this watch. It's big, sits nicely on your wrist, and I love the dial, it's just a great looking watch.

And will this leather strap give me the same flush-with-the-case-look that the original leather strap has? The original one looks like it was made to mate the case.

    I'm thinking of getting this:

Could you experts rate the price for me, is this about right?

    Thanks!
