My Spacematic GMT is the first watch I have ever had with a display case back. I have been fascinated watching the works inside.
This is the ETA 2893.2 21 jewel movement. I just thought you might like to see. Cheers, Bill P.

Very nice Bill, but I think you should remove the case back and show more detail. Ha Ha
Where did you find a Spacematic GMT with a see through display? I just got my first Fortis and it has the embossed closed back.
Can anyone please explain?
Danny, I hope someone here on the forum can explain the difference. Cheers, Bill P.
In my Fortis catalog from 2008, the GLASS BACK could be orderd for Flieger and Pilot Professional ( nr 60.595 ) , all they want to know is the reference no. and case no. of the watch when ordering.
Fortis B-42 Official Cosmonauts Automatic 647.10.11 M
Omega Speedmaster 3574.51.00 "Last man on the moon" APOLLO XVII

The model number is 624.22.148.1
Is the .1 indicative of the watch being a solid steel back?
