    Service

    Good afternoon,
I own a Fortis Pilot watch. It is a chronograph. I bought it in 1998 in Germany. It is working fine but I have never serviced it. I currently live in Mahwah, NJ-07430, USA.
Could anybody tell me where I could send my watch for a complete overhaul?
I am also willing to bring it to a jeweler, if somebody can recommend one that would be reputable.
    Thank you

    Time Tec in Los Angeles.
Authorized Fortis Service Center. Great service, just google the name.

Gevril (near the Tappan Zee Bridge in NY) is the closest authorized repair facility near you.

Actually, I believe Gevril is just the USA distributor of Fortis. I do not believe they do servicing. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You're wrong lol. Though, like every service center, they MAY need to send it to Fortis in Europe for more in depth service if needed. But they have access to every part that Fortis has (shipped across the pond, of course).

Just had the crown replaced on my 24hour Flieger auto by them.

    Re: Service

I have used Time Tec twice for servicing my Fortis watches and found their costs, turnaround time, and customer service to be most excellent.

    Re: Service

I agree, Time-Tec is the best BUT now that Gervil has taken over authorized service, Time-Tec may not be able to obtain Fortis parts. Not a problem if you just need ETA stuff or if they happen to have your needed part in stock.
