    Picture I finally managed to get a decent picture of...

    ...the Lufthansa A321 "retro". I've been lurking at the airport for ages and never managed to get a decent shot. This weekend I finally got it I also shot a pic of the Royal Jordanian Air Force Hercules - these are even rarer than hen's teeth at Frankfurt Airport

    When I fist saw the pic I thought Boeing 707

    Cool paint job. What was the reason?

    That used to be the standard paint scheme in the ca. 1960s (Micha may know better), and occasionally modern fleets have one plane done in retro-design to remember the good old times.

    I thought they did it just for fun BTW I like this paint scheme better than the current one :oops:
