    Over San Diego in a 1927 Bi-plane

    Hi Everyone,

Relatively new to the WUS... I recently bought a Laco Pilot's watch which brought me to the German, Pil-Mil, and aviation photography forums. I must say, I've been enjoying everyone's photos here! Thought I would share a few of mine.... Last weekend, I went on a bi-plane ride down the San Diego coastline. These were taken from a 1927 Travel Air 4000 Bi-Plane with 300HP Lycoming R-680 radial engine.

Very interesting ... must have been a cool experience. For a large part of our family, the first flight experience was in a radial-egined Antonov An-2 biplane (design date 1947, or thereabouts), and it must be even better to be in the open cockpit!

    Congratulations!
