    welcome to the forum !
watch seems al original to me, bracelet DOM (date of manufacture) is 2005 so assuming the bracelet has always been with this watch 2006 seems perfectly plausible
Don't believe me or anything I say just because I say it ... do your own research , ask questions and get answers , find out what you can , do background searches on the (vintage) watch you're interested in AND on the seller , only if you do all of that you will be able to determine the authenticity of the watch you're interested in

oh thank you, so you get the bracelet date from the last numbers on strap. so are you thinking this is not a 2006 model. or is it normal to have a strap with earlier date.
thanks. what did these retail at new?

I am not sure about retail prices as I dont have a 2006/2005 Chronolog
but its completely feasible that a watch build in 2005 is sold in 2006

    edit

    http://www.breitlingsource.com/price...&direction=ASC

the head without bracelet was $3650 and bracelet was $1000 retail

ah thanks i am going to go ahead and get this watch. I feel fairly safe as he is a high rated watch seller with all paperwork hostory on watch and is happy for me to take to specialist to have checked if i pick up. Ive always wanted a breitling after buying my omega 11 years ago which i have kept in mint condition. I dont know much about these watches really its just the look of them i loved, Ill have to research a bit more about them on here i think. thanks for finding those costs. Ill print out and add to watch paperwork.

The watch is absolutely real. There are no accurate looking fakes of these 38mm Navis as they use a custom chronograph module with unique subdial spacings.

The price seems fair to me, if it were the white dial version /w the later sapphire crystal I might be temped myself.

oh so this has slightly smaller face thats good. I didnt have a clue about the custom chronograph, think i understand..are you saying they are hard to replicate this size breitlings internals?
Anyway i have brought the watch and should get it Tuesday, exciting. I actually prefer darker faces on my watches rather than white. I see the ones with the gold sections through strap go for more, i dont actaully like them as much though. Thanks for the info
