Help - real, fake or franken?

On Chrono24, there are a large number of Breitling watches offered by Nina Durner, a private seller in Paris. Does anyone know this seller or have an opinion on the watches listed?

DURNER - Our supply of watches - WatchesThanks for your help.

Its a fine looking group of vintage Breitlings. You will have to satisfy yourself of the provenance of the offerings with the seller. Only they can give you the story behind the watches in that list. One or two show signs of the dial having been reworked which is to be expected (not necessarily desired) in watches of a certain age.

having had a quick glance at them I believe there's more 'wrongs' than 'rights' with these watches
Engravings 'iffy' , markings altered etc etc

Also the Rattrapante has been offered several times and every time the watch was discussed and 'irregularities' found they mysteriously were corrected
Master gold smith mark (number inside hammer head) is inconsistent with what Breitling used, this mark is no longer visible in the pics, earlier pics showed a very bad breitling engraving , suddenly the bridhe is plain and without Breitling , etc etc etc

I wouldnt go near any of these watches
But as always , you will have to decide for yourself
Don't believe me or anything I say just because I say it ... do your own research , ask questions and get answers , find out what you can , do background searches on the (vintage) watch you're interested in AND on the seller , only if you do all of that you will be able to determine the authenticity of the watch you're interested in

Thanks for the advice. My house was burglarized and I am unexpectedly in the market for a watch or two. Unfortunately, I like the vintage watches but don't know enough to spot the fakes on my own.

    What about this one?

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/320764539589...9#ht_756wt_932

It look better to me, but I am concern about the crown and limited information.

    Thanks,

    Mike
