Still hoping (?) I might make it, but it's not looking good at the moment. If I do, it'll be a last minute booking. If I don't, I'm not sure what I'll miss more, the island/diving, or the people who are going. I strongly urge anyone who is contemplating taking this trip, just do it! It's a great time with top notch people and fabulous diving.

C'mon T-Bone make an effort! Searaiders won't be the same without you! How can you forget Paloma?

Wow, thanks all for the warm thoughts!

As far as chipping in, not an issue, not nec. I'll either make it or I won't. And that, frankly, is still up in the air. But there is still a decent chance I'll be joining you, though as I said before, if I do make it I'll be a last minute sign up.

No, won't forget Paloma, but it wouldn't influence my decision either way. I really do hope to make it, I would miss you all terribly (not to mention the diving and the island in general!). Look for an announcement from me in the first week of November .

Well folks, just got some news today, things not happening quite as I'd expected. Due to some issues of timing, I won't be joining you this year after all .

As it turns out, the schedule which actually looked good up until now simply won't work for me this year (I really anticipated posting here next week that I would be joining you, but sad to say it was not to be).

Please have a wonderful time, and please (please!) post lots of pictures!

Now, I've got to figure where/when I'll get to do some diving next. Maybe Florida and then the Bahamas this Winter, say January?

Have a great trip guys, and keep the hurricanes at bay. I'll miss you all.
