    Searaider's, remember to vote!

Hi folks. It occurred to me last night while watching the debate that we'll be out of the country on election day 2008, and will need to acquire absentee ballots if we intend to vote this year.

Now please let's not get political (against WUS rules!) but, just wanted to post a reminder so we can all exercise a right many fought and died for.

Most places, you contact your county clerk or city/township clerk's office to request a ballot (I did this in '06 when I went to Iraq). They'll get required info from you and send you a ballot. You then fill it out (even before the election) and mail or deliver it (must see it reaches them by the deadline, I dropped mine off in late Oct. in '06).
    Regards, T Bone.

Good call T. The polls have opened here for absentee voting, so I'm going to take care of this tomorrow.

Everybody...no matter what side of the fence you may be on, please go vote.

    Have a nice day.
