Altering on the colour of the Strap Screws - Opinions?

    Hi Guys,

What do you lot think of this little 'Mod' to spruce up the look of the watch a little?

Also considering doing the same to the buckle to match the dial colour. Personally, I quite like the idea of a little something different.

    Thanks

Altering is always a bad idea.

Not a big fan of mods but that does look hot... I once DLCed a PAM000 because I love the look, but it just never felt right... felt like I was wearing a fake watch for some reason. Ended up selling it and told myself to never mod any other watches ever lol.

I think that looks pretty cool!!!
And being that it's not an irreversible mod, I don't see why not. You can always put the pvd screws back later

I think it looks great! May I ask where did you purchase the screws from? Or did you just have them painted to match?

It is just a photoshop for now but I can get almost an unlimited amount of screws. Like it has been said, it is not an irreversible mod so should I get bored of fancy going back to OEM I can just whip them out and put the PVD ones back in. I quite like the look of it. I will update this thread should I chose to do it. I think doing the buckle too may be a little much but a spare buckle doesn't cost that much and it just keeps the look fresh.

I really like it. I am all for mods that can be reversed. Watches are one of those items that are all identical from model to model (unlike something wooden, etc- that has its own personality) - so mods that make it your own is a great idea.

That slight mod is ok and looks very nice. Also, it is a reversible mod. Mods work when the watch is a keeper, but most buyers in the secondary market prefer OEM version vs. a mod.
