    B&R Vintage 126 Chrono Stutter?

I recently picked up my first B&R, the 126 Vintage Original (non-carbon), and loving it so far.

However, I noticed that when using the chrono, the second hand stutters/jerks/jumps in a few places around the dial. I know the movement is a 2894 (which is a base 2892 with a chronograph module added on) so it won't function as smoothly as a chronograph built movement. Should it be pretty smooth all the way around or is this just a quirk of the movement? It looks like the stuttering can also be seen on the Tag Heuer Calibre 17 which I believe is the same or similar movement.

Also, is the crown push-pull or screw-down? I read online that it is screw-down but the sources don't seem to be the best while mine is push-pull.

    Thanks!

I also have a B&R 126 vintage original. My chronometer second hand doesn't jerk or jump in places. It is consistent as it moves around the dial. The movement is relatively smooth and the same as the second hand on my Hamilton Khaki Field auto. The crown is push-pull. If you like the vintage look as I do, isn't it one great looking watch?
