    BR-01 question

    Hi everyone,
This is my first post here- been reading for awhile. I really like the Bell & Ross BR-01 instrument. I am planning on buying one in the next 6 months. I currently wear a 46x46 Parnis - love the size and style, so I am confident I like the BR-01 size.

My question is - why does B&R leave the date off of the BR-01 92? I know the 42mm case comes with a date window, but why not the 46mm?

Does it bother 01-92 owners not having the date?

    Thanks!

No date give you perfect symmetry on the 01. I personally like not having the date as it's one more thing you need to set if you don't wear the watch every day or leave it on a winder.

    Agreed.
I spoilt my Speedmaster date when adjust the date before full wind and before changing the time to 530am.....
    One expensive lesson learnt....

    /wave, stick around!

No not so much because I bought a 01-96 to fix that problem, Much prefer the fact they make the Big Date its own model anyway. Small date is useful but far less aesthetically pleasing. ^.^

Yea. No date window, however even with it, it is so tiny anyways. So I really didn't see the point anyways... There is something very charming about the simplicity though. Just the time is all you need....

Thanks for the feedback - I do also like the simplicity of just the time. I don't even really know how often I look at my date on the watches that have that complication anyway. Is there a list of ADs in Michigan that sell B&R?

if not, is there a list of online ADs?

    Thanks!

I agree with crmsnraider. If you need the date, which I do, go 01-96, which I did.
The 01-92 is meant to be THE Instrument. Pure legibility, no clutter.
If you go to bellross.com you can get a list of retailers in your area.
GL and make sure to post pics!!!
