Question Need a quality hole puncher for my Bell & Ross strap.

Does anyone one know where I can get a good hole punch for Bell & Ross straps? I'm talking about the square hole kind. I got a square hole punch from strapcode.com, but I have to pound on it so hard that it usually ends up ruining the leather or the table I'm working on. I got another one from the same store, but it was only a marginally better. I even tried wetting the leather, but not much help. When I say I have to pound on it, I do mean pound on it.

I've been using the regular round hole puncher for a long time, and I never had this sort of problem. I thought maybe the square hole punchs need to be hit much harder, just by the nature of their square design???

Has anyone experience the same problem? Or am I doing something wrong or missing some special trick?

Or better yet-- Does anyone know where I can get a good, easy-to-use, square hole punch for my Bell & Ross strap?

    Please help.

    Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Would you happen to know where I can something a little larger? The holes in my strap appear to be 2X6mm.

    Best,

    Best,

No sorry I do not, I searched the web trying to find a square hole punch that may be beneficial and all I ended up with after 30 minutes or so was the 2 links I supplied.

Perhaps someone else who actually manufactures custom straps may be able to help you out with a better source than I can with my limited internet searching skills.

All I can suggest is to buy the 2x 4mm and just take 2 ‘bites’ at the hole, just make one hole slightly to the left and then take another punch just 2mm to the right of it and then you will have your 6mm, make sense?

    All the best.
