    New strap for the B&R!

First strap for my 03-92! First time I ever tried to swap out a strap either. Now this is a bit easy being that's it's just a matter of removing the screw as opposed to prying a spring bar or whatever, and as technically incompetent as I am, I still managed to get it done. It did take me almost an hour (as evidenced by the time seen on the watch from start to end), but that's because I had trouble lining up the holes to make it fit (that's what she said!). The holes were pretty tight too, which is fine when they're set, but setting the bars through them, good lord! Is that how most aftermarket straps are?

I got the strap from Panatime.com. Suckingly, they just got a memorial day weekend 25% off sale going on a day or two after I ordered mine. Oh well!

By the way, props to Panatime for shipping it the morning after I placed my order in the middle of the night. They shipped from the East Coast (NJ if I recall). Came pretty quick with Priority USPS mail.

Anyway, check out the pics, they speak for themselves!

The strap out of its packaging:

Setting up shop. I always wondered why I had 2 tools. Now I know. You have to hold one side into place to allow for unscrewing on the other side.

First side apart. Don't lose that screw!!

    Finally put it back together!

    And the obligatory wrist shot:

Great looking strap! And Simon is right- you are on the precipice of a very slippery slope. I have had my 03 for about six months now and I change straps at least once a week! Enjoy in good health.
