What Packaging is supplied with BR02?

Hi guys I just purchased a BR02 a couple of days ago, I am very happy with the watch but just curious to what packaging should come with it? I noticed on a few threads about the watch they came with a Peli case, mine only had a leather case? mine is the steel version with Arabic dial. Are they now shipping in non peli cases or has there been a mistake at the AD?

Any help much appreciated guys.

jdub- yes, the 'peli' cases were stopped when the 02's decreased in price!

I was sure the AD wouldn't make a mistake like that as the peli boxes are pretty big and hard to miss, but I just wanted to make sure. I can understand the logic as there is no real need to put a Diving watch in a water proof case!! but thought the fabric strap and tool would still be included, ah well.

I am still very happy with the watch though.

I had heard that they were not giving the Peli case anymore, but this is the first I'm hearing that there's no canvas strap or tool

I heard the same, that the Pelican cases were being discontinued. I may have gotten one of the last BR02s with the Pelican case when I bought mine last March right after the price dropped.

Apart from the non-pelican case, no strap changing tool and no canvas strap is the BR02 exactly the same quality as it always was i.e. the movement is the same and B & R have not compromised anywhere else on the watch to bring the price down?

Is the removal of case, changing tool and strap is what mainly brought the price down or did they bring it down further to increase sales?

Also is the movement still the Sellita SW200 (as I thought it was); I have read other places that it is an ETA? Can anyone confirm the movement in the presently made BR02?

Six 13- nothing changed in the watch (ETA), just the packaging, tool etc.

Hmmm, stranger than fiction, it all seems a bit of a mystery to me and you have the new model as well.

Perhaps B & R or your AD has some surplus stock of Pelican cases that also contained Velcro straps, but then there is no strap changing tool and what happened to the apparently new leather case…..??

Interesting about the case, etc. Seems as if they can't make up their mind what to include with the sale
Regarding the movement, do you know which one you got. after digging deeper, I've read that they only used the SW200 for a spell, because the ETAs weren't available, but now they're using ETAs. So many conflicting stories, you don't know what to believe.
