    And back to Zenith again...

Unfortunately, my new Pilot Big Date is headed back to Zenith for the second time in the six weeks I've had it. Same problem as the first time: the chronograph second hand doesn't reset to 0. The problem probably would have recurred more quickly but I rarely use the chronograph. I tested it the day I got it back from service and then didn't use it again for three weeks, until yesterday.

I really like this watch a lot. I hope that soon I'm able to keep it for longer than a month without sending it to Le Locle.

Thanks Dan. I too hope it comes back quickly -- I really enjoy wearing that watch. If anyone with more experience than I have has suggestions about questions I should ask before or after the repair, I would appreciate the input.

Good golly, how frustrating. Honestly, I don't think it's on you to ask questions - the repair just has to be done right.

Can't disagree with that. Having had to send watches back, I've never had a "why" question. Mostly it was your guys messed this up now fix it!

    Good luck!

Thanks all. I too hope that they are able to correctly repair it this time around. I'm operating under the assumption that they will. I'll update when I know more. The watch has only been gone a day and already I miss it.

Congrats first on a great looking piece, just love the pilot range. This seems to happen to most chronographs and should of been sorted out the first time.

Got a message from the service rep at Zenith. They received the watch on July 2 and it is currently with the watchmakers. She promised to keep me posted.
