    I am lost for words......

Well I don't know what to do nor what to say anymore. Simply that I am lost for words. If you look back at my previous post from awhile ago, I have been dealing with Gunter since August on getting an order completed and to this day October 26 2010 I have no idea anymore what is going on. I have emailed him within the last 3 weeks and I have not received a response, not even a read receipt that I was getting before. I have called and called and called and that is not working either. Gunter was kind enough to email me near the tail end of September to just let me know that one of the watches that I would like to order being the 47mm Chrono Pilot would be available mid October. Well I believe we have past that. So this order is not just for me but for friends of mine. I am at this point just frustrated at this whole process........................................... ............

I don't understand. Have you paid and not received your merchandise? Or, the watches are not available for sale yet, but were promised to you? 'Cause the 47mm Chrono has been out of stock for a while it appears.

While I'm not Steinhart's trouble shooter, I talk to Mr. Steinhart on a daily basis ... if you are J. N. from Canada, don't worry, you have neither been forgotten nor ignored. It's just, that your order of several watches also has a long list of numerous modifications included. If I'm informed correctly, then there is not a single watch with stock specs on your wish list? To sort your order takes up a lot of time, almost too much time for a small team like Steinhart's. But your order will be taken care of, all you need is patience!

i wouldn't lose sleep over that.
i've been waiting a lot longer than you to have some Custom Watches made for me. but for the lack of Supplies/Parts ? i have to WAIT till they're available again . and i do understand that Custom Word takes time.

    Cheers

How custom can one order from steinhart?

I would love to have an ocean 1 vintage red with a 40mm diameter, and would be willing to pay a premium for such a watch.

A fair question and one that in recent hours has been much on my mind.

Thank you very much for your reply. I can wait. I was just emailing Gunter for an update and I wasn't getting any replies. Once again much appreciated. I know Gunter will do an amazing job. I completely understand that what I have asked for will take time. Just didn't realize it would be this long, that's all. Now I know that when I place another order and ask for custom work then I can expect this kind of delay. Let Gunter know thank you once again. Also, let him know that my intention is not to talk bad about him and his company and that I sent him an email with the revised order. Instead of 7 watches I changed it to 5. After the New Year I will then place another order for the 2 cancelled watches.
