Jubilaumsuhr JG74, How many are out there?

I did a search and only found one post other than my announcement of purchasing my third Steinhart. I did see two in the "Show your Steinhart" post. I am curious to see how many others have one. I guess they are not very popular. I found this link and was able to find out they were still available.

I ordered one and it will be here 7/13.
Sound off if you have one.

My only thought it because it is harder to navigate to on Steinhart's website. I have been to Steinhart's website like 100 times and I have never run acrossed it until you posted the direct link.

I think it is great looking watch. Enjoy it man.

I agree with Joel about that being a good looking watch! I did not try to find it on the Steinhart site. I just used your link to see it for the fist time. When yours arrives we are all eager to see your pics. Cheers, Bill P.

Nice catch Lenny. You have to go to the German language site, click on the link, and then go to English. Very tricky. Have to see what else we might be missing. Anyway really nice watch. Could live without the logo but that what this LE is all about. Please post some pics when you get it.

So say you went to the main site and clicked on the english version first as I always do... Then you can't navigate to this watch? The only way is to go in the german site find the watch THEN switch to english? That is a website error for sure if that is the case.

Well, it showed up Friday morning. I opened the Fedex package, which faired better than the last two and was greeted by a plain brown box and a black Steinhart folder. In the folder was the "Certificate for Limited Edition Time Pieces", mine is 178/333.
I opened the box and as described on the webpage is a canvas bag and inside it is a very nice black leather pouch with the Steinhart logo. It also has a leather strap that mimics the watch's strap with a light duty version of the OEM buckle.
Inside the pouch is a strap changing tool, the watch itself and a Black Flieger strap with an OEM buckle.
The watch is the same 44mm case found on the other pilot style watches in their lineup. I like this size and would probably explain why this is my third Steinhart Pilot in three months. The strap that is on the watch is black rubber coated calf leather strap with white stiching. It is thick and stiffer than the other strap I have on my other two Steinharts. I've worn it twice and it still hasn't curved around my wrist up towards the lugs like the others. I wish it was a little longer, but I am able to wear it on the second or third hole from the end.
The dial has larger numbers than the A and B dial Fliegers I have, which makes it very easy to read. The hands are all white which makes them look larger than the blue hands on the other ones. All in all I like the face of the watch.
The case back has the four jets over the fifty years of the fighter wing's existence. That was the one thing that made me want this watch when I finally saw what was on the caseback.
I'm very happy with my decision to get this watch and this only increases my desire to purchase other Steinharts in the future. I think I need to slow down and enjoy the ones I have now and save up for the ones that will make my wishlist.
I've included some pictures I took when I first got the watch. I may put some others up once I figure out how to get better close ups of the watch.
I'd still like to hear from anyone else who has one.
    Cheers

Thanks Lenny for the update and pics. A unique and interesting watch. I especially like the packaging and extra strap. Seems like an excellent value for a limited edition. Wear it often and in good health.
