I got my OVM yesterday and have almost same problem as OP
The crystal is a bit higher on the bottom (6) side then on the top (12)
The bezel does not line up prefectly at 9, it's 1/2 click off.
Going to email Anna now.

I have the same problem with my O1VR. The bezel is off by 1/3 of a click. When I received it, being that it was my first purchase from Steinhart I was disappointed, but it keeps time very well to make up for it.
Same problem here. a email sent to Anna 2 days ago. no reply. disappointed on both the quality and the service from steinhart
I might also add that the rate performance is bad on mine. Within an hour of synch with navy atomic time it was running plus 10 seconds on the wrist. After resting dial up for only six hours oernight it had lost 1 and 1/2 minutes. We'll see how it goes today. At this point this watch is relying a little too much on its looks. I wonder how it pressure tests...
No problems on my end. I'm still running to the correct minute after three days. I also took it swimming last night with no issues.
I'm guessing Gunther is really just having trouble keeping up with demand. That Worn&Wound review probably boosted the sales of this model through the roof. That's how I came to be here.
Keep in mind the bezel insert is secured in the bezel by double stick tape, does not "snap-in" like Rolex inserts with the slight edge.

Glad yours is running well. I hacked mine again this morning. Running minus five seconds after 2.5 hours wrist time. Easily my worst watch in this regard. Wonder if if I can get somebody here to regulate it.
My OVM is a week old and is running +5 sec/day. The pip is where it should be.
Anybody else having problems with the end link rubbing against the rest of the bracelet? It's only mildly annoying to me but the screw on the 6:00 side has come loose TWICE already which definitely is a cause for concern. I wonder if the rubbing somehow produces enough friction to turn the screw.
Any thoughts or suggestions for a fix short of sending the watch back for repair?
Tis a crappy bracelet, and for multiple reasons. I considered locktite on the screws. Got some leather straps instead, which kind of sucks too because I can't just hop in the water whenever. I'm not a fan of rubber, or of NATOs really. If I get wind of a quality replacement bracelet, preferably with solid end links, I will probably get one.
