Ocean 2 order

Hi,

I've been reading the Steinhart forum for awhile now and finally ordered an Ocean 2 with metal bracelet. Ordered on July 29 and the website showed it was available. Never received the payment email so I contacted Anna and she sent out the invoice the next day with the payment info and I paid via PayPal. Received an email on August 1 that my order was processing and in a few days I would receive shipping information. Hadn't heard anything,so August 5 I emailed to follow up. Never heard back. Emailed Anna last night, haven't heard back yet. Now I see the watch changed to "shipping not before end of August"

Does anyone have another email so I can what the status is? Unfortunately I can't wait a month and wouldn't have ordered had it not been listed as available.

Make sure to check your spam folder. I didn't check mine and all the original emails went to that.

I'm getting the emails ok...
I did finally get a reply that the watch is out of stock until mid August...like I said, it showed available when I ordered it and since I had to request that the payment instructions be re-sent I would have thought I would have been notified of it being out of stock at that time, not after I paid for it. I sent another email 3 days ago requesting a clarification (it shows late August on site, email says mid August) and have never received a reply...

Much as I hate to have to say it, have patience. Anyone with experience of Steinhart's ordering process will tell you the same. My O2 took about ten days from order to local FedEx depot, and my bracelet about the same.

Always do research before ordering.

Steinhart watches have a very good reputation for quality. Communication and ordering from Steinhart is often pathetic, at best. It has become a sad, ridiculous, cliche. "I stuck my hand into a bee hive and got badly stung." - "I ordered direct from Steinhart and haven't heard from them regarding when to expect my watch."

Same thing.
