A Pair Of Steinharts Just Arrived!

I posted these photos in the thread kibi started on the silver LE 47 mm. I wanted to start a new thread with them to show them off and to say, again, how pleased I am with the Steinhart experience. I ordered the LE silver and nav b chrono on a Sunday night from Miami, Florida, USA. I received them from Germany, on the following Wednesday. I had "spoken" with Gunter by e-mail about the watch numbers availavble for the LE, and sent him my selections in order of preference. I never heard back from him before I recieved #193.

I knew this was likely, that there were very few numbers available, and the # I would probably end up with would be whatever # was chosen by the employee packing the box. I didn't really expect Gunter would be out hand selecting my watch by #. I bring this up, because there have been some negative comments about Steinhart's service lately. My experience could be percived, or portrayed by some, as negative. No response to my e-mail, etc............ but I do not. I placed the order and paid by PayPal before any communication on # availability came back. I wanted the LE before it sold out.

My experience has been nothing but positive. The two watches I just received are simply amazing. #193 is now MY number, although #53 has significance for me and is reserved for me on the Proteus list. Anyway, here are the two watches just received by a very happy customer. As I stated in the thread I started about Steinhart watch value, I can't imagine a better value than these two for about $1400 usd, shipped from Germany to Miami. The shipping was 30 euros, same as for one watch .

I did not expect the presentation case, which made the unboxing even more impressive. It brought along a friend, a nav b chrono.

    The friend:

Friends (don't know how I missed the silica pack in the photo. The warning is good advice though. It's not a snack ):

That is a beautiful pair of Steinhart watches! I especially like the second one.

What is the model of the second one, please? Does that second one come on a bracelet or if not, is one available? Thanks, Bill P.

    If I may...

That's the Nav.B-Chrono II available here.

It's also available on a bracelet or you can buy the bracelet seperately...

Hey, Solo, I'm curious--what number is your Nav.B?

Thanks H. Solo for providing the info. I didn't opt for a bracelet, because it seemed more fitting on leather.

I didn't have any chronos and thought I should own at least one; the Nav B-Chrono II seemed like a good choice at a good price.

    Now, I have a chrono!

Beautiful watches, congrats to the LSE from #132

Wonder how many are still available.

The chrono also looks stunning. Next one for me is first the ocean 1 gmt in black once it is back in stock. Then hopefully end of the year the wusse project. If my wife does not kill me in between, i would love to go for a chrono.

All the best with your nice siblings,
    K

Apologies for the mix up, Rover, but I meant to ask you the number of your Nav. B.
