Poor Dial Finish on my Apollon (?)

I put the question mark in brackets because I am relatively inexperienced in this type of watch. But what I can say is that all the watches I have had before this have a better dial finish.

As you will see in the video there is what I thought was a flake of skin or something just before 9 on the inner rim of the chapter ring. It can be seen with the naked eye. On a closer look with a magnifying glass and in the bright sunshine I can see that it is a little raised rough part of how the material has been cut. In fact all of the cutting around it looks like it is rough, including the insides of the hour markers which are actually worse.

Also the supposed titanium bracelet says STAINLESS STEEL.

Should I take these issues up with Steinhart?

Your dial picture is so blurry I can't see what you're talking about. However, of course I would take exception to imperfections on the dial and the "titanium" bracelet.

Why would you not contact Steinhart? You have literally nothing to lose.
    Regards,
    Tim

If you're unhappy with the quality of your watch, of course you should take it up with Steinhart. However, with respect to the bracelet clasp being stamped SS, I believe that has already been documented here; maybe someone with more time can locate the information from the previous thread that explains this?

The pic of the dial isnt clear at all so i cant comment on that. Regarding the bracelet, it is titanium but the clasp is SS.

You can see the dial defect in the video. It shows up as a shiny spec.

The bracelet (and perhaps case!) are most likely titanium pvd coated opposed to solid titanium. Steinhart does not make this clear on there website and should.

I would return or exchange it based on the dial alone. I would not want to look at the defect every time I look at the watch.

Its bead blasted titanum not pvd and so is the bracelet.

I'd send it back because of the dial. Tje bracelet is likely titanium but the clasp may be stainless steel.

James, please be sure to e-mail Ana directly at Steinhart and not the general "info" e-mail address. Ana leads their returns / repair department and is very good at promptly returning messages. I've had excellent service from Steinhart and can personally attest to Ana's professionalism. You are in good hands with her.
