Vintage red- Red in some light conditions?

In the pictures on gnomon the Ocean 1 Vintage red has a red glare.
I haven´t seen this in any other picture.

Is it like this in real life?

Pictures are borrowed from Gnomon Watches.

    Hmmm...
I guess it has to do with the lighting conditions under which the pics were taken. I can't see any red glare on my Vintage Red, no matter how I hard I look.

Weird, although I think watch would look even better if it had this glare-effect.

    Thanks guys!

Im thinking it might be the focus indicator LED on the camera. Some of the cameras I have shed some red light on the subject pretty hard. Especially at the distance these pics were probably taken. Just a guess though; could be wrong ^_^

You didn't realize that HAL-9000 took Gnomon's pics, did you....? ;)

If you look at the outer rim of the crystal you'll notice that the reddish hue comes from exterior light.

    Nice one! ;)

Jtstav and Watch-U-Say; Yeah, you are probably right. I didn't really notice that on my iPhone, when seeing it on my PC-screen it clears out.
